About This Product

The CoeLux® ST home skylight is a fairly compact module, suitable for many different settings, creating an artificial window facing a luminous sky, traversed by the rays of a bright sun.

The main distinguishing feature of CoeLux® ST is that the sun is not directly visible. The rays of sun reach the eye after being reflected, diffused, refracted and diffracted by the louver, miming the interaction of the sunlight with clouds, water, foliage, snow, etc. Alternatively, they may only hit the window light-well and make it shine, as they do in nature with stone-walls against the sky.

Ibla is the name of one of the areas of the historical city center of Ragusa, in South-West Sicily, which is now famous around the world for the treasures of its architecture. The district is a densely built-up area of houses and churches made up of blocks of local limestone on top of a hill. In the heat of the summer, when the sun is almost unbearable, the walls and the roofs bounce off the sunlight which feels even warmer due to the stone's white-amber color, as the narrow glimpses among the street let the unattainable blue cool of the sky in.

CoeLux® ST IBLA offers an artificial window featuring a clear opening to the sky without any element in the way, despite being positioned at the bottom of a deep well of light. Like NAOS, the contrast between sky and sun lies inside the well itself, which produces utterly uniform lighting in the room for your Las Vegas, NV-area building.

Tivano - from the French Petit vent – is the breeze that skims the Lake Como shores in the early hours of the day, clearing up the air and giving the lake the iconic beauty that makes it one of the most fascinating and magical places in the world.

When Tivano blows, the sky is so clear the light shines everywhere and its reflection on the rippling water of the lake creates magical wakes of thousands bright images of the sun.

CoeLux® ST TIVANO – also available in two different versions – offers a reflected view of the light of the sun whose image appears fragmented. As you walk under the window, you will notice that the trail of light constantly follows you, just like if you were walking by the lake or the sea looking at the reflection of the sun in the water. The main feature of TIVANO is maintaining the component of the sun and the sky separated in the reflection process. This way, the lit room is rich in chromatic contrasts and brightness as if it was natural light made up of the warm direct light of the sun that lights up the side walls, and of the blue light of the sky that colours the shadows, offering depth and perspective to the space.

CoeLux® ST NAOS:

“Naos” (cell) is the name of the inner and most sacred part of the Greek temples, where the divinity statue usually was. According to the criteria of balance and harmony between every element of the Greek architecture, the cell was surrounded by perimeter columns as an opening on the landscape. The direct light of the sun filtered in and out of the temple throughout the day, modelled by the columns and their flutes able to give almost a musical rhythm to the space.

CoeLux® ST NAOS, available in two different versions, offers an artificial window made up of various glimpses of sky, each of which set in its own white cell of light. Just like the columns of the temple, the rays of the sun hit the surface making it occasionally bright. This way, they mark multiple irregular yet parallel shadows, whose perspective ensures the presence of infinite space.

Despite the remarkable chromatic contrast produced by the light of the sky and of the sun on the cell system, this device delivers utterly uniform light in the room thanks to the perfect blend of the two elements bouncing light among the cells.
